Every teapot in the first Song Vessel collection comes from Cai Danjie's workshop in Chaozhou, southern China.

He works under the studio name Hexing Tang (合兴堂), making teapots in the Chaozhou Zhuni tradition. In 2024, Cai Danjie was awarded an intermediate-level professional title as an Arts and Crafts Artist specializing in ceramic craftsmanship under Guangdong Province's professional title system.

Each piece includes a signed maker's collection certificate, designed to record details such as the form, clay, capacity, creation date, and piece number.

The first collection consists of five teapots: three fully hand-thrown by Cai Danjie and two semi-handcrafted in the same workshop. The craft method is stated clearly on every product page.
